A Manifesto for Theological Interpretation

In 2016 Craig Bartholomew and Heath Thomas, eds., released A Manifesto for Theological Interpretation with Baker Academic as an initiative of the KLC Scripture and Hermeneutics Seminar. The book sought to bring a team of specialists together to present a vision of returning rigorous biblical interpretation to the context of the church. The book itself opens with the Manifesto, which is then unpacked section by section in the remaining chapters.

We are delighted that Baker Academic has given us permission to make the introductory manifesto itself available to download in PDF free on our website. This is a short document that the student, seminarian, pastor, and scholar can carry with them and refer to as they engage with the Bible.
