Vision for the Coming Year

KLC has some exciting initiatives that we are rolling out this year. At KLC, we see scholarship as an important part of the church’s mission. We’re growing the ways that KLC and its fellows can have an impact on the world, working collaboratively and across disciplines to produce excellent, meaningful research that wouldn’t be possible if we were working alone.

Our event marked the launch of KLC Projects: a new platform that shares the key research projects that are happening under the KLC banner. Our website now has expanded facilities for our Hubs to build their online profiles and to invite collaboration. We’re hoping that the new site is a seedbed for interdisciplinary collaboration between scholars and practitioners to launch some creative, ground-breaking work.

In this video, you can see the following presentations (links to each section are in the video description on YouTube):

  • The problem KLC is trying to solve (Craig Bartholomew)
  • Scripture Collective update (David Larsen)
  • The benefits of KLC’s PhD programme (Michael Wagenman)
  • KLC Arts update (Otto Bam)
  • KLC’s new website (Jordan Pickering)
  • Final charge (Craig Bartholomew)
