Reading Acts with Steve Walton
Acts is a crucial book in the New Testament, the linchpin between the Gospels and the Epistles. Without Acts, the Epistles would make no sense. Steve Walton recently released the first volume of his Word commentary on Acts.
We celebrated the launch of this landmark commentary with Steve by inviting him to speak about his work on Acts and how he approached this commentary.
We also invited Dr Matthew Sleeman (Vice-Principal, Oak Hill College, London) and Dr Marion Carson (Senior Research Fellow, International Baptist Theological Study Centre, Amsterdam) to make responses based on their experience of the commentary from within their ministry contexts.
We have split the event into four parts; click a video below or find the whole playlist here.
Prof Walton has made the text of his presentation available, which you can download by clicking the button below the first video.
