KLC is honoured to have been involved in bringing an excellent new book on The Philosophy of Herman Dooyeweerd to the public. We held a festive and well-attended in-person launch on Saturday 29 November, along with parallel sessions online. The event involved short presentations from the authors, illustrator, publisher and translator, followed by engagements with the content from a succession of experts on Dooyeweerd and his work.
Our event also included an interview with Roel Kuiper, the author of The Anti-Revolutionary: Life and Works of Groen van Prinsterer (1801-1876). Groen van Prinsterer’s thought influenced Dooyeweerd and in its engagement with international law has found immediate relevance in our own time.
