KLC has a big vision for the growth of God’s church, but big change only happens through the patient coordination of many much smaller efforts. KLC needs your small change to help us keep working for big things.
If you share our vision, consider adding your gift to our team effort.

KLC has gathered an exceptional team of full-time and part-time staff, as well as a community of scholars, professionals, authors, artists and more. An essential but largely invisible part of our work is the group whose Christian giving underwrites our work. Whether for the short term or a little longer, we’re inviting you to be part of our team and to help keep our staff supported, our events subsidised, and our resources increasingly accessible.
Even small change can help to make a big difference.
UK donors are encouraged to select the Gift Aid option on the donation forms. Please go to kirbylaingcentre.co.uk/donate to read more about Gift Aid. “Support the Team” donations are allocated to staff salaries and other team expenses. Note that, if unavoidable, a small portion of your donation may be allocated to areas of urgent need.

The Kirby Laing Centre began online out of necessity, but our vision is to become a permanent research centre in Cambridge with a beautiful, welcoming campus. We have begun investigating properties in Cambridge and envisioning a campus that anchors our community, offers hospitality, and that is home to leading interdisciplinary Christian scholarship.
Invest in KLC’s future: contribute to our building fund.

KLC produces a number of publications through which we aim to share top-quality interdisciplinary research, good Christian thinking, and the centrality of the gospel to modern life. These include The Big Picture, which is our main accessible resource; Ethics in Conversation and our new series called Apologizing for Public Theology, plus the many books that are published commercially by our staff and fellows. KLC is now embarking on a project to publish books under our own KLC imprint and a new journal that we hope will be a fresh and fruitful outlet for deep scholarship.
If you believe in the power of publishing, become a patron of KLC’s publications and we’ll deliver. Our UK and USA patrons receive special gifts, including:
Receive 3 copies of The Big Picture per year.
Receive The Big Picture and The Scripture Collective.
Receive everything plus our book of the year.
UK donors are encouraged to select the Gift Aid option on the donation forms. Please go to kirbylaingcentre.co.uk/donate to read more about Gift Aid. As a research organisation, connecting and supporting Christian scholars is close to our heart. KLC aims to be a hospitable environment, connecting scholars through our conferences, seminars, and hubs, facilitating research and relationships, and building relationships with local and visiting scholars in Cambridge.
KLC’s PhD programme offers academic supervision of PhD students, the training and development of supervisors, and the administration of student scholarships.
If you have benefitted from our networks and programmes, or if you want to be a part of raising up the next generation of scholars, join us in this role.

A renewal of the Christian tradition will never take place through ideas alone but needs to be accompanied by a riot of song, dance, literature and the arts. KLC’s vision for the arts is both to celebrate the riches of the arts and to explore the ways that the arts can plumb the depths of what it means to be human – in relationship to our Creator and His creation. KLC pursues its vision for the arts through ArtWay, a vast online database of Christian writing about the arts, research in the arts, and support for artists within our community.

Note that, if unavoidable, a small portion of your donation may be allocated to areas of urgent need.
