In 2024, KLC launched its own publishing arm, with the modest ambitions of going international with The Big Picture – providing avenues of print and distribution via Amazon – and publishing translations and reprints of key books within our stable. With the launch of KLC Projects in 2025, we have the opportunity now to produce key works under our own banner.
In January 2025, we published our first full-length book under the KLC Publishing imprint, Auf die Heilige Schrift hören, a translation of Craig Bartholomew’s Listening to Scripture in German. The translation is the work of KLC’s Rainer Behrens, the design and layout was done in house, and this beautiful hard-cover edition was printed in Germany.
Part of the first printing was immediately delivered to a German seminary in which it was used as a set work in one of their courses.
We hope to release our second German translation later this year.
The Big Picture is KLC’s regular compendium of popular-level essays on public-theological themes. The essays are a blend of creativity, theology and practical experience, incorporating the reflections of our wider community and the fruits of our fellows’ academic research. We publish three beautifully designed issues a year.
In the UK, KLC produces its own print edition, which is available from our shop on this website. Internationally (including the UK), The Big Picture is available in print via Amazon. The first ten issues are not yet available but will be added as time allows for their reformatting. You can also read TBP back issues for free as a PDF, or digitally on Substack.
