Currently based in Toronto with his family, Sam has had extensive experience in missions work for over 15 years. Much like Lesslie Newbiggin, Sam is profoundly passionate about seeing the North American Church mobilized — not just believing, but embodying the Gospel message in every sphere of their lives. Sam’s recent projects include a missional innovation framework that helps Christian leadership teams pursue contextual adaptability, while staying sensitive and obedient to the movement of the Holy Spirit.

Outside of work, Sam trains as a long-distance runner and triathlete. He is married to Lydia, with whom he has three children. He is hoping to impart his love for the Montreal Canadiens to the rest of his family.
