I was born in Bückeburg, Schaumburg-Lippe, raised in Minden, Ostwestfalen, where I finished school with the Abitur in 1985. After the military I studied theology in Krelingen, Münster and Gießen. I worked as an assistant pastor in the Evangelische Kirche von Westafalen, did a PhD in Cheltenham in New Testament Studies, was pastor of Chrischona Gemeinde Kreuzlingen (Switzerland). I am now serving as pastor in Hamburg. I translated more than 20 books, mainly by N. T. Wright and have started to translate books by Craig Bartholomew. We are currently praying and talking to people about possible ways to start a German branch of KLC.
