During my PhD research I studied relativistic matter models under the supervision of Prof. Juan Valiente-Kroon at Queen Mary University of London. I have continued in this direction to some capacity, but my research interest has slowly shifted towards more fundamental concepts. I am interested in understanding the relationship between the natural world and mathematics, what exactly do we mean when we introduce concepts such as mass, time, forces etc. into physics? This has led me on a path of studying the history of physics, philosophy as well as set theory and topology.
As a Christian, I have been interested in how my faith impacts (or not) my research. This lead me to start the mathematics hub at KLC, which I am currently heading. The aim of the group is to attempt to create a research space where our faith is free to impact our research and direction of study. Email for interest in collaborations or the mathematics group.
