Mark Ryan is a pastor and apologist serving as the Executive Director of Sage Christianity, as Adjunct Professor of Religion and Culture at Covenant Theological Seminary, and as Associate Professor of Congregational Theology and Cultural Apologetics at Calvin Theological Seminary / Missional Training Center.
He previously served as the Director of the Francis Schaeffer Institute at Covenant Seminary and spent numerous years working with L’Abri Fellowship, a ministry begun by Francis and Edith Schaeffer. In addition to current administrative and teaching responsibilities, he is an active pastor and presbyter and serves on several ministry boards promoting apologetics and outreach.
Mark and his wife Terri are well known in their city for the way they open their lives and their home to those who question God, are done with church, feel at a loss with faith or who feel curious but suspicious about Christianity. As time and opportunity afford, Mark enjoys gardening, birdwatching, discussing film, and reading widely.
