Kyle David Bennett is Co-Director of Project: Neighbor and Assistant Pastor and Director of Education at Beverly Heights Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a Fellow at the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology and was a 2024-2026 Scholar in Residence at the Mouw Institute of Faith and Public Life at Fuller Seminary. He is the author of Practices of Love: Spiritual Disciplines for the Life of the World (Brazos Press, 2017) and Conversation Seeking Communion: A Field Guide to Christian Disagreement (Eerdmans, 2027). Kyle has a B.A. in Ministry and Philosophy from Geneva College, an M.A. in Theology, and a Ph.D. in Philosophical Theology from Fuller Seminary. Kyle has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at The King’s College, Azusa Pacific University, Providence Christian College, Caldwell University, and Trinity School for Ministry. Kyle has been invited to speak at churches and universities, including Yale, Cornell, Duquesne, Calvin, and Geneva College. Kyle has written for Christianity Today, Comment Magazine, and the Center for Public Justice, among others. He lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Andrea, and their three children.
