Chip Hardy (PhD, University of Chicago) is an accomplished teacher and researcher in Semitic languages, biblical interpretation and ancient Near Eastern studies. His academic work investigates how ancient Yahweh followers communicated their faith and experienced God through their foundational Hebrew and Aramaic Scriptures and in what ways contemporary believers can learn from these ancient texts. He is the author of numerous volumes, book chapters, and articles related to the languages of the Bible and its earliest interpreters. Chip is Professor of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School of Samford University (Birmingham, Alabama) and is an ordained Baptist minister.
