Ben Nicka is studying Christian ethics at the University of Oxford. His doctoral research is on the theology of mutual fund investing, with a tentative thesis title of ‘The Defective Moral Vision of Index Fund Investing: An Exercise in Theological Counsel’. His studies are motivated by 17 years in mergers and acquisitions consulting, primarily in New York City. He holds masters degrees in theology from the University of Aberdeen and Westminster Theological Seminary. He and his son presently reside in England, but consider Minneapolis, Minnesota and New York City to be their homes.
