KLC’s Annual Meal 2024 takes place at Morton’s, The Steakhouse on Saturday night, 23 November, from 6:30pm onwards. This is a premier venue, situated close to the entrance to the Convention Center, and the largest such venue we could find. Morton’s seats a maximum of 80 people, though we have been able to extend this to 96 by booking an adjoining room. This has accommodated most of our waiting list, but it is sold out too.
In the event of cancellations, spaces may open up. We encourage you to put your name on the waiting list if you would like to be notified of any openings. Please look out for David Larsen during SBL if you’d like to check on last-minute availability.
Join the waiting list if you’d like to be notified if a ticket becomes available.
This year’s ticket price continues to be substantially subsidised and, as a gift to our members, includes a free copy of the third book in the Scripture Collective Series, which is being released at SBL.
Our third volume is titled, The Bible Throughout the Ages: Its Nature, Interpretation, and Relevance for Today, and it features contributions from Kevin J. Vanhoozer, Karen Swallow Prior, and Henri Blocher.
“The Bible Throughout the Ages examines several crucial issues related to the Bible: its status as God’s truth and revelation, the history of reading and interpreting Scripture, and its ongoing relevance in the world today. This edited volume is the result of collaboration between English- and French-speaking scholars, who collectively address a range of issues regarding Scripture, including literal vs. metaphorical interpretations, how theologians like Augustine, Aquinas, and Calvin read the Bible, and how Scripture continues to shape the Christian faith today.” (From Zondervan Academic)
