I recently completed my PhD in Reformed Theology at the University of Edinburgh. I am originally from Egypt and currently serve both academically and ecclesiastically within the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Egypt.

• Ordained as a youth pastor in 2012 in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Egypt (Synod of the Nile).
• Appointed in 2020 as a full-time faculty member at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo (ETSC), where I teach Reformed Theology.

PhD Research Topic and Theological Formation:

My doctoral research is titled: “The Reformed Concept of Religion in the Neo-Calvinist Legacy of Abraham Kuyper and J. H. Bavinck, with Reflection on Islam as a Distinct Account of Faith for Egyptian and Middle Eastern Reformed Christians.”
