I started my career in academia & teaching. I was awarded a PhD in business and sustainable development, wrote a university textbook, and then moved into church planting in the UK, serving on a trust board of a national charity. Following a stint in teaching as Head of English, I worked for Compassion UK as Head of Church Team South and then Head of Neighbour Development and Activation. I have also been the Director of three companies, including a Community Interest Company. I served as a founding member of the Global Collab Next Gen board. I currently pastor a local church, and I work as the Global Mission Director for Christianity Explored.  I have also just completed my MTh with The University of Aberdeen, UK, on the Jubilee and its importance to the Contemporary Church. 

I love triathlons, but my greatest passion is seeing the Church encounter God’s presence through his Word and by his Spirit, and equipping Christians for faithful, biblical evangelism.
