Dolores G. Morris teaches philosophy at the University of South Florida. She earned her PhD at the University of Notre Dame in 2010, where she wrote her dissertation (Physicalism, Dualism and the Mind-Body Problem) under the direction of Dr. Alvin Plantinga. In 2021, Dolores published her first book, Believing Philosophy: A Guide to Becoming a Christian Philosopher. This book was the culmination of two quite different, but complementary, forms of teaching: university courses in philosophy, and evening classes taught at her home congregation, Tampa Covenant Church. Dolores remains passionate about teaching, inside and outside of the academic classroom.
