Kirby Laing Biography: First Draft Complete

Ian Randall has completed a 90,000-word manuscript, which is now under review. Respondents are evaluating the chapters and suggesting changes. Ian is still eager to hear from those in our community who knew Kirby Laing and may have anecdotes and reminiscences about his life.
The Kirby Laing Biography project is making excellent progress. Ian has finished his first draft, which stands at just under 90,000 words, and we have produced a rough-and-ready layout to be sent to reviewers for comment. 
 
We hope to confine this review process to approximately six weeks, after which Ian will make corrections and implement the suggestions made by the reviewers.
 
Once this is complete, the book will likely be brought to market by KLC Publishing and made available via Amazon and similar online retailers.
 
There are still a few ways in which you can be involved in this project if you have the requisite expertise or experience. The first is by volunteering to act as reviewer. If you would like a digital copy and if you would be willing to provide comments to the author, please get in touch.

Secondly, Ian is still eager to include any anecdotes or reminiscences about the life of Sir Kirby Laing that may be important to his work. If you have such information or know someone with whom Ian should talk, please let us know.
 
Finally, should KLC Publishing get the go-ahead to ready this book for publication, it would be valuable to us to have additional language editors who could volunteer to help us improve the level of this book. If this is something you would be willing to do, please also contact us.
