KLC Day of Prayer

Sign up here to receive notice about our plans for the day and links to the sessions.

On Thursday 22 August, KLC is entering the new academic year in prayer and we invite you to join us.

There is nothing contrived or magical about this day. KLC seeks to accompany the Spirit in his mission and thus, like Jesus, we need to spend time with the Father, listening, being still, worshipping and praying for the work of KLC that it might be an instrument in his hands to bring great glory to the LORD Christ. We intentionally do this at the start of the new academic year, asking God to lead us into it.

Our community is dispersed across multiple time zones. Thus we fully understand that some of you will only be able to join us in the afternoon, etc. However, we do request that people join for more than just one session as the day will be cumulative. All the times below are UK times.

  • 10:30-11:30am – Morning Prayer led by Craig Bartholomew.
This will include singing, readings, prayer for KLC and our partners, and 15 minutes of silence kept together. Prior to this service each person who registers will receive a text of Scripture to meditate on during the day.
  • The rest of the morning is for private prayer.
  • 2:30-3:00pm – Visio divina led by Otto Bam.
  • 3:00-3:30pm – A time to share what God may be saying to us.
  • 4:00-4:45pm – Sacred Space for the day with Dr Hugo Herfst plus prayer time.
